A month ago Humanature Studios started jammin’ on their KickStarter for Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, sequel to the classic games us older gamers remember loving on the Sega Megadrive / Genesis…
With 24 hours to go, Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove hit their funding target of $400,000 and are now closing in fast on their first stretch goal of $450,000.
Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove will feature a colourful, hand-drawn art-style quite different from the style of the originals. Currently, the game is only planned for PC, Mac and Linux and while it’s not looking overly likely that the KickStarter will hit stretch goals that will allow console ports for the title we hope that the developers will reconsider, as these games are clearly designed for kicking back on the sofa with a controller in hand.
Find out more from the KickStarter Page. If you like what you see, you can grab yourself a copy of the PC, Mac and Linux version for a nifty $15.
