Blizzard will be releasing Patch 2.4 for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls on PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime next week – just before the new season starts on 15th January. The patch will bring a large amount of new content to an ever growing game, including a whole new zone for Adventure Mode: Greyhollow Island, expanded areas in Sanctuary and a whole new bunch of items.
Perhaps the biggest feature of Diablo 3 Patch 2.4 is the addition of Greyhollow Island – a mysterious forested locale steeped in intrigue. The area is exclusive to Adventure Mode and gives you the opportunity to unravel the mystery behind the tragedies that occurred there. Alongside the new zone, Blizzard will be expanding existing areas by fleshing out the “Eternal Woods” and giving you the opportunity to see what lies beyond the rubble in Loric’s Manor.
With Patch 2.4, Blizzard will be revamping nearly all of the 24 class sets in the game. On top of revising the details of the class sets, completing a class set will also grant you access to a specific, non-randomised, dungeon, related to that set. Each dungeon will provide you with an opportunity to truly learn how to best utilise the powers that a specific set grants you.
Rounding out this bumper Diablo 3 patch, there will also be a slew of new legendary items, an option to upgrade Greater Rifts to Empowered Rifts by spending gold and some minor tweaks – like some revised UI elements and greater stash space for item storage.
