According to a new report, Nintendo has started giving out Nintendo NX dev kits to third-party developers.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Nintendo NX development kits have been given to third parties. The report also states that the system will turn out to be the rumoured combination of a standard box with “at least one” attached mobile unit that can be used as a portable device. “At least one” mobile unit may indicate that several units can be connected to the same console. This would resolve the issue faced by the Wii U, namely being able to link only one game-pad.
Referring to sources that are “close to the matter”, the report predicts that the Nintendo NX could launch next year.
