A new survey from YouGov has confirmed that more than a million UK Pokémon Go players have spent money on the free-to-play game.
YouGov found that 6.1 million adults have downloaded the game since its launch on 14th July. That’s 13% of the UK’s population. Even now, 5.3 million people are still playing the game.
The majority of people who have spent money on Pokémon Go have paid between £1 and £15.
However, over 250,000 players have spent more than £15 and 150,000 players have spent over £30. The survey also revealed that 7000 players have spent £75 on in-app purchases.
