Players will be able to play the Xbox 360 version of Burnout Paradise on Xbox One, Criterion has confirmed.
Burnout Paradise originally launched successfully in 2008. The racing game will be part of the Xbox One’s new backwards compatibility service. However, we do not know exactly when the game will be added to the service.
“It’s in the pipe, five-by-five,” Criterion confirmed on Twitter. “Stay tuned for a date though.”
The Xbox One backwards compatibility service is due to launch later this year. 100+ backwards compatible games will be playable when it launches. DLC, cloud saves and multiplayer will all be supported, as the game is running on an emulated Xbox 360 system.
